Buckland Hall
In the event of an emergency, Buckland Hall will be stood up as your local Community Emergency Hub. These hubs are being set up across the region following Cyclone Gabrielle and with the support of funding from The Cyclone Gabrielle Trust and Auckland Council.
The BCCI committee are currently in the process of finalising the Emergency Plans which will be published as soon as they have been completed and approved. A community meeting will also be arranged to share with everyone the details of who, what, how and when support will be available to those in need.
If you would like to be kept up to date with this development and do not already receive our monthly newsletter please use the sign up link below.
Please note – Buckland Hall is currently designated an Earthquake Prone Building and until these repairs are undertaken, it will not be able to operate as a Community Emergency Hub in the event of an earthquake. However, much of the equipment being established will be mobile for use at other locations.
