Buckland Hall CCTV – Policy
Purpose:
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras operate on and around Buckland Hall to protect the safety of visitors, committee members, volunteers and staff and to safeguard community property.
These cameras may also incidentally record people or vehicles on the adjoining public road.
Information Collected:
Video images of people and vehicles entering or near the premises.
How It’s Used:
Footage may be viewed only for:
- Security and safety purposes
- Investigation of vandalism, damage, or criminal activity
- Providing information to Police when legally requested
Data Management:
- Images are stored securely and retained only as long as necessary, in compliance with the Privacy Act 2020.
- Access is restricted to authorised personnel.
- You have the right to request access to or correction of any footage that identifies you, under the Privacy Act 2020. There are formal procedures around requesting this information.
CCTV Acknowledgement
By entering the Buckland Hall property, visitors acknowledge CCTV surveillance may occur.
