A bit about Rylee …..
Rylee began her dancing journey at the age of 4 at a small studio based in South Auckland ‘8 Count Dance Studio,’ which later also saw the beginning of Rylee’s teaching career.
Over the past 6 years, Rylee has taught students of all ages, starting at just 2 years old to 18 years old. Her knowledge of dance ranges through many styles including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, ballet and commercial jazz.
With her 16 years of dancing experience, Rylee has achieved highly in her exams following the NZAMD syllabus. As she got older she also began dancing competitively across New Zealand, competing in both solos and troupes.
In recent years Rylee has dived into the more commercial side of the industry, having opportunities to dance at halftime performances for the Breakers, Bulls and the Magics netball team, thanks to the likes of, Quinn Annemans and Tiptronic Productions. Rylee’s current training includes dancing at Red Studio in East Auckland where she both trains and teaches competition teams.
To further her career over the last 4 years, Rylee has danced alongside Tiptronic Productions in their pre-professional programme run by Quinn Annemans, where she has been tutored by some of New Zealand’s leading choreographers. This programme has allowed her to perform on a larger scale in a professional show ‘Driveline’ and a new upcoming show later this year ‘Hydraulica’.
